A New Year's Resolution and Quilting Bucket List

My Journey with Quilting

January 6, 2019
My new year's resolution and my quilting bucket list are the impetus for starting My Journey with Quilting blog. Having come back to sewing and quilting starting about 4 years ago, I have been remiss in capturing images of the wonderful (and not so wonderful) quilts that I have made over the last few years. As many of them have moved on to other homes, it is hard to remember the joys, successes, and learning experiences they have brought me.

So with a new year starting and my discovery of a quilting Bucket List, I am moving into the new year with the goal of recording my quilting journey with pictures and stories of the quilts I made this year as well as finding as many pictures of past quilts as I can.

I am starting with the quilt completed in August of 2018 to cover our bed in the new Mammoth house. I made it with New Hope fabric line by Jo Morton using the 9 Patch Madness Quilt pattern from Missouri Star Quilt Company. It was quilted on our (Val's and my) long arm machine using a swirl design.
